 Girls Explore Engineering Day
(November)

Discover your engineering future with CU-Boulder's Girls Explore Engineering Day! This fun, interactive and hands-on event will give high school junior and senior girls the opportunity to learn what engineering is all about, and discover how engineers are essential to health, happiness and safety. (This event is offered on multiple dates. This registration page is for the November event. To register for the September Girls Explore Engineering Day, click here.)

Why Engineering at CU-Boulder?

You cannot get a better engineering degree in the Rocky Mountain Region than at CU-Boulder’s College of Engineering and Applied Science! The college is ranked 34th overall and 19th among public engineeering programs. The aerospace and environmental engineering programs at CU-Boulder are ranked 10th and 14th, respectively, among public undergraduate programs. CU students give back to their communities too; we have the highest number of students in the nation who serve as Peace Corps Volunteers. And, the USA chapter of Engineers Without Borders was founded at CU-Boulder in 2001. CU engineers truly shape the future!

Event Details

Check-in opens at 7:45 am, and the program begins at 8:00 with a welcome to CU-Engineering and chance to meet a representative from every department. The day also includes a fun engineering design activity and a tour of a research lab. Lunch is free for all students, teachers and counselors in CU's new Center for Community (C4C) dining hall--a great chance to get a taste of what life is like as a CU student. More event details are coming soon!
