Evidence Based Differential Implant Treatment Planning

Despite relatively high implant survival rates, patients are not always completely satisfied with the restorative result. This presentation will review evidence-based differential implant treatment planning in order to address clinician- and patient-based concerns. The benefit/risk calculus of alternative prosthetic designs, including conventional rehabilitation, will be discussed and will serve as a basis for a comprehensive informed consent.

Course Objectives:

• Evidence-based prognosis for various implant prosthetic designs
• Differential treatment planning based on patient- and clinician-mediated concerns

Main dinner dish will be pork tenderloin with sweet potato risotto and juliene vegetables.
