Events that Alumni & Parents Won’t Want to Miss…
In addition to all of the exciting athletic events taking place during Homecoming Weekend – alumni and parents will want to be sure to note the following key events…
10th Annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony – Enjoy dinner in the Memorial Gymnasium while recognizing some of Bridgton’s most notable leaders in our 10th Annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. This event always features some wonderful stories, heart felt memories, and recognition of some of the amazing accomplishments achieved by fellow Wolverines. An after-hours gathering will be held at the Olde Mill Tavern in nearby Harrison, Maine.
Watch the Wolverines Take On Navy Prep – The most heated rivalry in Bridgton Football and Lacrosse! Bridgton Football will host NAPS at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 29th and at half-time, the Academy staff will provide guests with a full tailgate meal. We’ll have a tent set up on the field to provide a meeting place for all alumni and Homecoming guests throughout the weekend’s athletic events. On Sunday at 1:00 BA Lacrosse will face-off against NAPS, so make sure to include Sunday in your Homecoming plans!
Reunion Dinner Cruise – Celebrate fellow alumni and our Reunion Classes aboard the Songo River Queen on Saturday evening. The cruise will include a catered dinner and cash bar. Milestone classes will be recognized during the boat ride, and class photos will also be taken aboard the Queen. The cruise will provide a lovely outing on Long Lake during peak foliage season, and is always a great hit with young and old guests alike.
Attend Classes with the 2013 Wolverines – Homecoming Weekend provides the unique opportunity for alumni and parents to sit in on a class or two along with members of the Class of 2013. See what (and how) your Wolverines are learning in today’s Bridgton classrooms.
Homecoming Hospitality at the Den – The Wolverine Den will be open throughout the weekend as a hospitality center for alumni and other Homecoming guests. Need a break from Academy events? Head to the Den for a cup of coffee, snack, a quick game of pool, or a chance to sit and put up your feet! Refreshments will be available at no cost to Homecoming attendees.
Just for Parents... Teacher & Advisor Meetings – Time is scheduled on both Friday and Saturday to meet with your son’s teachers and advisor. Sign up sheets for teacher and advisor meetings will be available at registration on both Friday and Saturday.
College Counseling Presentations – Are you feeling anxious about college visits, deadlines, and applications? Attend our College Counseling Q&A presentation to get answers to all of your college questions!

Alumni & Parent Homecoming Weekend
Bridgton Academy is excited to invite you to our inaugural Alumni & Parent Homecoming Weekend. For the first time in Academy history, our Reunion Weekend will be combined with Parents’ Weekend, providing a busy and exciting three-day event for alumni, parents, faculty, and friends alike. We invite you to Come Home to Bridgton this September!
Milestone Classes ending in 7’s and 2’s will be specially recognized at this year’s Homecoming Weekend, but alumni from all graduating years are invited to attend. If you are in a Reunion year – we encourage you to rally your old friends and return to campus for a weekend of camaraderie, memories, and BA fun.
Homecoming Weekend will offer parents of current students the opportunity to see their son settled in at Bridgton, meet with his teachers and advisors, and enjoy a weekend at the Academy during the beautiful fall foliage season. In addition, most all of our athletic teams will be hosting at least one competition throughout the weekend, giving parents, family and friends the chance to cheer for the Class of 2013 Wolverines. This will be a wonderful time to visit your son and hear how his year is progressing to date at the Academy.
We look forward to welcoming you home to Bridgton this September!
