Facilitated by alumnus and composer/ writer/ humorist/ actor, Seth Lepore.
This workshop applies to performing artists of all genres be it theater, dance or music (especially jazz).

Building Blocks: The Foundational Toolkit for Your Artistic Business
Topics include:

Afternoon Session: 2:00 PM-5:00 PM
Taking it to the Streets: Touring without Losing Your Shi(r)t
Topics include:
•    Crowd-funding online and offline
•    Touring the festival circuits
•    Touring the college circuit
•    Arts Presenters, The Regional and National Arts Conferences
•    Working with booking agents and managers
•    Hiring and Outsourcing Admin Work



About the Presenter:
Seth Lepore headshotSeth Lepore holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies, focus: Creativity in Education from Naropa University in Boulder, CO. Since 1996 he has created over seven self-produced one-man shows.

In 2010 he embarked on a trilogy of solo shows about the underbelly of the self-help movement. The first installment, Losing My Religion: Confessions of a New Age Refugee, has been self-produced in black box theaters and fringe festivals throughout the country. The show won an Encore Award at both the Boulder and Minnesota Fringe Festivals. The second part of the trilogy, SuperHappyMelancholyexpialidocious, began touring in March of this year.

He writes personalized theme songs for people, places and things and maintains a blog about the ups and downs of being a touring performer on his website sethums.com
