The Future of Housing Finance Reform
Keynote Speaker: David Min, Assistant Professor of Law, UC-Irvine
David Min is an authority on financial markets regulation and policy. As the assistant director for financial markets policy at the Center for American Progress he led the Mortgage Finance Working Group, a group of leading experts, academics, and stakeholders assembled by the Center to research and develop recommendations on the reform of the US housing finance system. He has also served as senior policy advisor and counsel with the Joint Economic Committee of the US Congress, where he focused on policy solutions to the credit crisis. HE was formerly the banking committee counsel for Sen. Charles Schumer. Mr Min holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School, and received his undergraduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and School of Arts and Sciences.
