Rick Wormeli - Keynote Speaker

Rick Wormeli


Rick Wormeli will be presenting at the MMSA Conference December 6th & 7th, 2012 at the Doubletree Hotel in Bloomington, MN. Rick is a national educational consultant,  author and one of the first Nationally Board Certified teachers in America. Rick has taught math, science, English, physical education, health and history for over 20 years. He was the recipient of Disney's American Teacher Awards 1996 Outstanding English Teacher of the Nation. His work in middle school instruction is considered by many to be the defining work in that subject. He writes regular columns for the National Middle School Association's Middle Ground magazine and ASCD.



The Minnesota Middle School Association hosts its annual conference for middle level educators who want to learn more about helping adolescents become successful learners in the classroom. Over two days the conference provides practical ideas for the middle level teacher that can be put to use immediately.
