Fall 2012 Powwow Social Networking Event

Powwow is kicking off the fall with another one of our energetic, friendly, and fun networking events.  Come meet other amazing women in the field of nonprofit and philanthropy to share your ideas and current projects, find a job or someone to hire, launch your new innovative nonprofit or broaden your "old girls" network!   We also welcome students and "career changers" who want to break into the field.

Online registration is now closed but you are still welcome to join us at the event!  We hope to see you there.

About Powwow

Powwow was launched in 2007 to connect and support women making a difference.  Our goal is to develop and strengthen women leaders in the social sector, including:  corporate community affairs, private philanthropy, nonprofit and non-governmental organizations, consulting to nonprofit and philanthropy, government and public affairs.  We achieve this by:

  • building a network of women in our field at all stages of their careers;
  • offering education, peer exchange and resources to encourage success and leadership for women in our field; and
  • empowering the next generation of leaders through mentoring and information sharing.

Powwow offers a diverse range of programs, events and other resources designed for professionals working in the social sector, as well as students and career-changers.
