"Can't we all just get along?"Paige Ames image

Coping Successfully
with 4 Generations in the Workplace

How do we engage all ages in the workforce?  How can the conflicting communication styles and values of 4 generations mesh and cooperate effectively?  We've all struggled with an older colleague who won't use email, and younger co-workers who just want to text all communications.  How to motivate the in-betweeners?  How can workers adapt to the different generations we all work with from day to day?

Paige Ames' discussion of Generations at Work will be interactive and help us understand the impact of Gen "Y"ers, the baby boomlet, Gen Xers and baby boomers, and the different characteristics and motivations of each of the 4 generations, without bashing any of them.  She has strategies and intuitions that will help the understanding of the age groups.

Paige Ames, Managing Director of Ames Consulting, Ltd., focuses on workplace strategy throughout all levels of an organization.  After almost 10 years in London working in the corporate real estate organizations of Deutsche Bank, The Financial Times and News Corp/ News International, she is back in California bringing her expertise to bear for US companies.  She has also run engagements and provided workplaces in Milan, Frankfurt, Belgium, Moscow, Singapore and New York.
