From Jonesboro, go North on Hwy. 63 until you get to 67 South to Newport/Little Rock. Turn left on 67 South. Go about 7 miles to Minturn and turn right on Hwy. 228. Follow 228 for 6 or 8 miles and the pavement makes a sharp turn to the right and you turn left on the gravel at that point. There are huge grain bins so you can’t miss it. The lodge and lake are as big as a football field, so again, you can’t miss that either.
This event will provide seven hours of education credit for Certified Public Accountants and other accounting professionals from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 pm and will address the educational needs of CPAs in our community. This educational event is combined with your choice of afternoon activities including a first class skeet shoot or a traditional guided pheasant hunt with the staff of the Stan Jones Mallard Lodge in Hoxie, Arkansas. The Stan Jones Mallard Lodge is a rustic but elegant retreat and seminar attendees are invited to explore the beautiful park setting surrounding the lodge that includes waterfalls, streams, and gardens.
The fee for the full day of events is $275. This price includes the continuing educational program, lunch and the afternoon outdoor activities of either skeet shoot or guided pheasant hunt.
