Join us for an interesting and thought-provoking workshop exploring the intersection of adolescent substance abuse, sexual behavior and the influence of hip hop culture. Special attention will be given to how rap music shapes social norms among teenagers and what educators need to know to be more effective with their prevention efforts. Prior knowledge of substance abuse, adolescent development and basic prevention techniques are recommended for those attending this advanced workshop. Please be prepared for explicit language and images.
