National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions

2013 Annual Conference

 Financial Inclusion Through Cooperative Finance

June 5-8, 2013 - Baltimore, Maryland

The Federation is a dynamic, growth-oriented community development financial institution specializing in bringing safe and affordable financial services to low-income communities through nonprofit, member-owned community development credit unions (CDCUs).  The Federation provides financial, technical, and educational services to credit unions serving low-income and economically disenfranchised communities.

As the financial services industry and more Americans seek alternatives to high-cost and increasingly complex banking instruments, credit unions are increasingly serving more diverse populations and markets.  The Federation is devoted to bringing the information, tools, and partnerships to help credit unions of all shapes and sizes to best serve previously underserved markets.

Our Annual Conference will bring together leading thinkers, researchers, policymakers and practitioners in community development and financial empowerment with credit unions adapting new strategies and approaches to better serve their members and communities.  Our sessions and workshops will focus on insightful tracks in the areas of research, technology, ideas for innovative products and services, resource development, compliance and sustainability.

The Federation’s 2013 conference in Baltimore is sure to be the single largest gathering of credit unions serving low- and moderate-income communities nationwide! Our program will feature presentations by top-level federal officials, innovative credit unions, researchers, and many more!

See you in Baltimore!
