Volunteer Training Event - Oct 4th

~ Dog Daycare, Cagefree Boarding Centre ~ 

Have you wanted to work with dogs, but simply don't have any experience?  

Perhaps you have lost your own pet recently, and are not yet ready to adopt another?  

Are you looking to fill your community service hours required for your high school diploma? 

(Although we do some dog rescue work, you may want to get authorization from your Guidance Counselor or School Principle to ensure that they will accept hours from working within the Animal Industry rather than in a strictly 'not-for-profit' facility.  Our experience is that most high schools do give approval.)

Would you like to spend some time giving dogs some of your love and attention?



We are a completely cagefree environment for dogs, and have separate areas for the small/calm dogs and the more active dogs.

Currently we have openings coming up in our volunteer program, and are looking for some pet lovers to take over these spaces.  


Safety and duties training is provided.
Duties include:

-sitting with, petting and brushing dogs.

-cleaning up messes & slobber as they happen.

-assisting taking dogs outside.

-changing water bowls, and mop buckets.

-some assistance with cleaning.


Times spots are available in the daytime, afternoons, evenings and/or weekends.  Minimum time commitment is one 2 hour shift per week, for a minimum of 3 months.  More time slots are available during holidays (such as winter break, March break and summer), due to these being our Peak Seasons.
