Sniffapalooza Jacomo Paris Master Class! Sat. 9/29 in NYC!

In our never-ending quest to bring you the most fantastic of scented experiences, Sniffapalooza has planned an exclusive event to give you an incredible whiff of fragrance exploration from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm on Saturday, September 29th in NYC. Our good friend Francois Damide, representing the iconic fragrance house Jacomo Paris, has created something outstanding for Sniffapalooza members - an elegant Master Class and Avant Premiere launch of two new Jacomo Paris masterpieces at New London Luxe!

We'll start with a delicious repast of French pastries, Caneles and Financiers de Celine, and fine French dessert wine. Then we'll join Francois on an extraordinary journey into the rich heritage and history of this venerable house, including an overview of all the current fragrances.

Jacomo Paris dates back to the late 60's, when James Kaplan, an American art collector, and Gerard Courtin, a French pianist, created a fashion accessories collection called Jacomo: JA for James, CO for Courtin, and MO to give the name a musical touch. They opened their first boutique on Fifth Avenue in NYC in 1969, and launched their first perfume, Eau Cendree, in 1970. Following its success, Jacomo Paris became a renowned, cult-favorite perfume brand, introducing many other successful fragrances, including the legendary Silences, Jacomo de Jacomo, and Paradoxe. In 2010, Art Collection by Jacomo became synonymous with the revival of the brand, reconnecting the art world with Jacomo Paris in a collaborative effort between perfumers and artists. Early in 2012, the launch of the very innovative smartphone look of It's Me for Him and It's Me for Her won the Perfume Packaging Award of the Year.

In a rare opportunity, Sniffapalooza will have the extreme privilege of premiering Jacomo Paris' latest creations, two brand-new fragrances - Silences Eau de Parfum Sublime for Women and Jacomo de Jacomo Original for Men. This is a long-awaited re-imagining and updating of two beloved classics, and is major news in the fragrance industry. We are very lucky to be among the first to try them, and also to purchase them exclusively at this event!

After the presentation, there will be ample time to sniff and discover all the Jacomo Paris fragrances, and to chat with Francois.
