Join friends and long time activist at the historic 40th Anniversary of the Thomas Merton Center!

Founded in 1972 in response to actions organized around ending the Vietnam War, TMC has grown to address many other issues since then including organizing around transformation in the areas of economic and environmental justice, anti-war efforts and prisoner rights

At our 40th Anniversary we will be honoring Medea Benjamin, an anti-war activist best known for co-founding Code Pink, Women for Peace and Global Exchange. Medea is author of the recently published  Drone Warfare: Killing by Remote Control .

The Anniversary Celebration features networking with local actvisits, a sit down vegetarian dinner, videos, and Medea's talk which will focus on the important task of ending all forms of war and social injustice through peace and nonviolence.
