Senior Partners for Justice 10th Anniversary Celebration

In the ten years since its creation, Senior Partners for Justice has grown to include hundreds of volunteers - lawyers, law students, and retired judges.

• You have represented thousands of low-income individuals who would have otherwise faced the legal system without a lawyer. 
• You have helped clients get much-needed child support, preserve housing, get legal guardianship of orphaned children, get out from under crushing medical debt, and get the unemployment insurance to which they are entitled. 
• You have made a critical difference in the lives of our clients. 
• And you have gained valuable experienced and become part of a community of people committed to access to justice for all.  

The Volunteer Lawyers Project of the Boston Bar Association provides the infrastructure and administrative support for Senior Partners for Justice.  In the past two years, VLP has lost 17% of its funding. These cuts could seriously affect our capacity to do the case preparation, training and mentoring that are the foundation of high quality pro bono work. As we look toward the future, your financial support will be more critical than ever to ensure that Senior Partners survives and thrives for the next ten years and beyond.
