Great Pancakes and a Lot More 

Annual Charitable Event helps Hunterdon Central students and a designated local family in need.

If you enjoy a great family event and lot’s of delicious pancakes, then plan to attend the Flemington Rotary’s 38th Pancake Day on Saturday, 10/27 from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm.

This annual event will take place at the Commons at Hunterdon Central Regional High School in Raritan Township. The Commons is near Hunterdon Central’s field house, at 29 Junction Road, in Flemington.

Rotary Club of Flemington Helps the Local Community - Proceeds generated from Pancake Day provide scholarships for HCRHS & HC-Polytech graduating seniors.

In addition a significant portion of this year’s Pancake Day proceeds will go to support the needs of a local mother who resides in our community. Previously living in a homeless shelter, this ambitious and caring single mother has been actively getting her life back on track, participating in school to better her education, and trying to live in our area on less than $325.00 a month! Although she is working while attending school in Newark (and caring for her daughter) there is a very serious need for financial assistance until she graduates. Rotary Club of Flemington has decided to continue their history of helping others in times of need.

Fun for the Entire Family - Special activities will include an indoor Halloween High School from 10:00 am until noon, sponsored by Hunterdon Central as a “thank you” to the community for their support of the high school. There will be Haunted House decorated hallways, children's scary story time and all kinds of Halloween activities and games in different classrooms. Kids through grade 3 and their parents can come together and there will be prizes and gifts to families and kids who come in costume.

It Gets Spooky - Rotary is continuing their “spooked” up menu with their Boo-Berry & Count Chocula Pancakes for all ages to enjoy! And, In addition to the flapjacks and sausage there will also be a bake sale. The bake sale will offer a broad selection of cookies, cakes, pies and pastries prepared by Rotary members and their families.

Tickets are Now Available - Pancake Day tickets are available in advance from Rotary Club of Flemington members, or at the door Enjoy as many pancakes as you want, with butter and syrup, a serving of sausage, coffee, tea, juice and milk for only $7.00 for adults; $4.00 for children ages 5 – 11; Children under 5 are free.  There is no cost to attend the Halloween High School.
