 Miss Representation, an award-winning documentary directed by Jennifer Siebel Newsom, explores the media's various misrepresentations of women in positions of power and influence in America. Imran Siddiquee, social media director of MissRepresentation.org--the social action campaign of the documentary film--will show a Miss Representation trailer and share clips and strategies behind the campaigns sparked by the film. He'll also talk about using social media to engage consumers to act against offensive media.

A full screening of Miss Representation will take place at the Mill Valley Public Library on November 15th, 2012 in the Creekside Room.
