Please join us as we celebrate our fifth annual gala, on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the fabulous Hilton El Conquistador Resort near Catalina State Park on Oracle Road. Tony Paniagua of Arizona Public Media will be our emcee for the evening. Nan and Dick Walden are the honorary chairmen.
A no-host cocktail hour featuring live music and an exciting silent auction will precede dinner in the Presidio Ballroom. Enjoy a live raptor free-flight, great company, and a thought-provoking keynote presentation on animal migration by David Wilcove, Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and Public Affairs at Princeton University and the author of No Way Home: The Decline of the World's Great Animal Migrations. Yes, animal migration is still very evident here in our region and Professor Wilcove will inspire us to protect these magnificent journeys!
We hope you will become a part of this special Tucson Audubon tradition. Tickets are $150 each and $1500 tables for up to 10 people are available only to Friends of Tucson Audubon. Corporate sponsorship packages are offered from $2000. A portion of the cost of the evening's tickets is tax-deductible.
To reserve individual seats or a table for 10, please register below. For questions or to register by phone, please call Erin Olmstead at 520-209-1809.

How it works:
Imagine you purchase tickets to the 5th Annual Tucson Audubon Society Gala: A River of Birds. On January 30, 2013, you drive to the Hilton El Conquistador Resort at 6:00 PM. You enjoy the cocktail hour with live music that opens the evening. During that hour you bid on your favorite must-haves in the silent auction. After the auction you are treated to a wonderful dinner, and a thought-provoking keynote presentation on animal migration by David Wilcove. A live raptor free-flight in the ballroom awes you. You drive home at 9:00 PM with your spectacular auction purchases, having had a wonderful and memorable evening!
Click here to survey many of the items that will be available for bid (tucsonaudubon.org/news-events/30-news-stories/228-galaauction.html). Some will be combined into multi-treat packages and some will be bid upon individually. Additional items will be available that day but this list gives you a thorough sense of the temptations that await you!
