About Our Speaker:
Amanda Augustine '04
Amanda Augustine is the Job-Search Expert for TheLadders. In addition to being a brand ambassador and spokesperson, she also pens a weekly career advice column, Ask Amanda, which is shared with more than 5 million job seekers every Wednesday. She joined the company in 2004 as one of its original 20 employees and is based in the New York headquarters.
Over the past eight years, Amanda’s innate desire to educate and prepare professionals for the job search has inspired her to establish TheLadders’ best practices, which are used to influence the company’s product design and career services. In her ongoing efforts, she has devoted almost three years to testing various job-search techniques for providing unique insights to millions of job-seeking men and women.
Amanda is a highly sought-after speaker whose job-search tips and career advice have been featured in various media outlets, including FOXBusiness.com, New York Post, Huffington Post and CBS New York.
