Terms & Conditions
I know that participating in the Viva la Vida 5K Run/1KWalk is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by all decisions of the race officials relative to my ability to complete the run safely. I assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including high heat and humidity, cold and rain, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of Viva la Vida 5K Run/1KWalk accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Viva la Vida 5K Run/1KWalk Organizers, Volunteers, City of Event, and all Sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event. Furthermore, I agree to be bound by the rules established with respect to this event. In addition, I understand that if the race is canceled due to weather or by circumstances beyond the control of the organizers, my $25 entry fee will not be refunded.

About Valley AIDS CouncilValley AIDS Council (VAC) is a private, non-profit organization which provides primary outpatient care and support services to men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS in South Texas.
Mission Statement
Valley AIDS Council, Inc. will provide and expand the capacity of HIV/AIDS services in South Texas. Services will be provided to individuals infected, affected or at risk of HIV/AIDS and related co-morbidities. Valley AIDS Council, Inc. will accomplish this by providing HIV/AIDS medical care, medical training, research, medical case management, social services, education, prevention, and outreach testing and counseling.
