Workshop - Basic QuickBooks

Bobbi Olson is recognized as a regional QuickBooks expert. Her workshop will go over how install your QuickBooks, how to set up a company, and how to set up your chart of accounts. Once this is done we will start entering transactions into the checkbook to show how each transaction affects either the balance sheet or the profit and loss. We will touch on the functionality of QuickBooks and the basics or writing a check and making a deposit. Students may want to bring their laptop to work as we go.

Instructor: Bobbi Olson is a QuickBooks user and provides consultation to small businesses. She earned an Accounting degree and worked in the private sector as an internal auditor, accounting manager, Controller and Sr VP/CFO. Bobbi is employed with CliftonLarsonAllen and also opened her own accounting business, CommonCents Financial Services, in 2002.
