Thursday, November 8th - Out & Equal Metro New York with Digitas, Diageo and Marriage Equality has assembled a panel of national equality advocates for an evening of engaging discussion around Marriage Equality: One Year Later...

When the Marriage Equality Act was passed in June 2011, the victory was heralded as a tipping point in the larger civil rights movement for marriage equality across the nation. Following this year’s presidential election,
the LGBT community needs to know and understand the state of marriage equality here in NYC and across the United States.

Don't miss your chance to hear a celebrated panel of hometown marriage equality advocates discussing the victory and its impact a year later:

  • Alphonso David, New York State Deputy Secretary for Civil Rights
  • Thomas Duan, New York State Senator
  • Brad Hoylman, Former Chair, Manhattan Community Board
  • Brian Silva, Executive  Director, Marriage Equality USA
  • Kyle Young, Vice President – Investment Officer, Wells Fargo Advisors

Adam Wasserman, Lead, Diversity & Inclusion, Digitas will be introducing and moderating this insightful panel discussion.

This event is free and registration is required.
