Manufacturing is an important industry in Southern California,which is still the largest manufacturing center in the U.S.  This event is designed to showcase the various resources for manufacturers in Southern California.

INNOVATION EMPOWERS MANUFACTURING SUCCESS

Speakers
Robert C. Fry, Jr., Senior Economist for DuPont Company, a manufacturer that operates in 70 countries, will describe the economy both nationally and across the globe.
 
Dorothy Rothrock, Senior Vice President, Government Relations, for the CMTA, will share with us some of the historical trends of manufacturing in California.  She will be reviewing the victories and setbacks manufacturers experienced in the last year, and a perspective on what is happening in Sacramento that will affect many manufacturers in 2013 and beyond. 

Breakout sessions will include panelists from manufacturing who share their success in workforce innovation and in business development, particularly in exporting their “Made in the Inland Empire” goods; and instructional sessions in banking, finance, and regulatory compliance.
