Facilitated by: George Vasquez

Workshop Description

Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) is a research-based environmental prevention strategy found to be effective in reducing hazardous alcohol use at licensed alcohol establishments.   This practical, participatory workshop will provide owners and their employees with the professional server’s standards established by the CA Department Alcoholic Beverage Control.  This training is also appropriate for community members and coalitions interested in learning the steps necessary to build an effective RBS Program for their communities.

In this workshop, you can expect to:

  • Learn about current liquor laws and the implications these laws have on business owners and their employees.
  • Plan to build partnerships with law enforcement and community stakeholders.
  • Learn to apply techniques for identifying and dealing with minors and intoxicated individuals.
  • Certificate of Completion
