Orange Bowl Paddleboard Championships
WHO?
The inaugural event featured nearly 250 racers and had thousands of spectators. Local celebrities, paddle professionals, participants and spectators joined “littles” in a massive first time paddle clinic. This year’s event will draw the world’s top elite competitors in paddle boarding as well as hundreds of recreational amateur participants.
WHAT?
The OBPC event provides three courses (Elite, Recreational and Sprint). Winding its way through downtown Miami, Biscayne Bay and the Miami River, the Orange Bowl Paddle Championship is a unique urban downtown course.
WHERE?
Core events will be held at Bayside Marketplace – in the heart of downtown Miami.

WHEN?
January 13, 2013 - Onsite registration will begin at 7:30 AM and end at 8:30 AM. The Elite Race will start at 9:00 AM, with the Recreational Race starting at 11:00AM and concluding with the Sprint Race at 1:00PM. Closing ceremonies and prizes to follow at the conclusion of the Sprint Race.
WHY?
The Orange Bowl Paddle Championship powered by Jimmy Lewis is a charity–driven event with a focus on children and community. All funds raised by the event will go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami to fund mentorship activities in the area.
