Henrico County Connections 2012 

The Henrico County Connections brings together procurement and technical representatives from Henrico County, and business resources from the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of  General Services, Department of Business Assistance, Department of Minority Businness Enterprise, and the Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council to increase the SWAM business community's awareness of opportunities and support available to them.  The educational program has been designated to assist you in understanding the requirements in the areas of bonds and insurance.

Event highlights

Keynote Speaker: Sharon Rheinhart, Supplier Diversity Manager - W.M. Jordan Company

Subcontracting opens the doors to contracting opportunities. Sharon Rheinhart serves as Supplier Diversity Manager at W.M. Jordan Company and will speak on aligning and positioning your business to acquire contracts. Sharon works comprehensively to increase  Minority-owned, Small, Women-owned and Service Disabled Veteran-owned ultilization and is committd to providing information to strengthen firms so that they can be a significant value-added service provider in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Meet the Buyers: The one-to-one meetings will provide a forum for  business owners and buyers meet and discuss procurement opportunities away from the mainstream of the Reverse Tradeshow. (A limited number of appointments are available on a First-Come First-Serve basis)

Reverse Tradeshow:  Come out and meet representatives from the following agencies - General Services - Facilities/Risk Management, General Services - Purchasing, Henrico County Public Schools, Public Utilities, Public Works, Recreation and Parks.
