Driving Directions
Do you have a teen with a developmental disability? Do you have solid plans for your child when he/she becomes an adult?

TRAILS will assist you in blazing a trail tailored for your teen's adulthood. For parent/guardian/caregivers  of a child with autism, Asperger Syndrome, and other developmental disabilities, age 14-21. Don't wait until your child is an adult to start planning!

Each of the four Saturday workshops we will travel along the transition trail together, covering topics such as:

  • Introduction to adult services: Transition Overview
  • Transition IEP
  • County resources
  • Financial Planning
  • Guardianship
  • Employment
  • Housing
  • Friendship
  • Person-centered Planning

In order not to get sidetracked on the trail, we recommend you commit to and attend all scheduled sessions.

$100 fee covers all four session, materials and lunch

Second registrant supporting same student and sharing materials: $150
