Our researched-based programs cultivate progressive learning for 21st century students. The skills the students acquire are imperative for students to succeed in school and for their future success in the global information society.
Chess is compelling two-player board game of Kings and Queens that teaches patience, self-awareness, composure, mental endurance, and grace. Its deceptively simple rules continue to capture the hearts of adventurous spirits seeking fun and absorbing adventure. In this course, students will learn the rules of chess, basic principles of opening and endgame along with strategies and tactics of the game. But most important of all, students will have enormous amounts of fun as they play one of the most popular board game of all times. Chess engages students in a mental workout, forcing them to anticipate, plan and be systematic. Learning to play the game and then practicing it improves critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, visual memory and reasoning.
Our teaching methodology puts the emphasis on skill-building and positive reinforcement rather than memorization while challenging students through fun games and lessons from our staff of world class instructors. Whether your child plays already, or wants to start, our classes cater to all levels of chess ability.
