We invite you to attend this comprehensive three-day Institute for educators and designers—held at Lied Lodge’s world-class facility, surrounded by the natural beauty of Arbor Day Farm. The Institute will be led by experienced designers and educators from Nature Explore and The Outdoor Classroom Project.

Choose from these three tracks (click here for detailed agenda):

• Designers: Provides comprehensive information on all facets of designing and constructing research-based, natural outdoor classrooms. We have officially been approved as Landscape Architecture Continuing Education System Providers. Please contact us for more information regarding Professional Development Hours.

• Educators (Track One): Provides in-depth, hands-on Nature Explore workshops and Outdoor Classroom Project information that is foundational to supporting the child-nature connection. Ideas for taking the content back to staff or including it in college/university courses will be presented. 

• Educators (Track Two): Provides brand new Nature Explore and Outdoor Classroom Project workshops-not yet presented to the general public. Ideas for taking the content back to staff or including it in college/university courses will be presented. 

Registration

The registration fee of $395 includes an Opening Reception the evening of July 21, breakfast and lunch July 22–24, optional evening activities, and a “toolkit” of resource materials for each participant. (Note that dinner on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening will be on your own.) Registration and payment deadline is July 15.   

Accommodation
Make your room reservation directly with Lied Lodge and Conference Center. Rooms must be booked no later than July 2, 2013. Rooms are $89 per room for single occupancy and $99 per room for double occupancy. There is also a 12% lodging tax per night. For more information about Lied Lodge and Conference Center please visit www.liedlodge.org

Shuttle Service from Airport
The shuttle service to and from the Omaha airport is $30 per person per trip. To book a shuttle with Lied Lodge – click here. If you make your room reservation by phone, let Lied Lodge and Conference Center know if you would like a shuttle.

Cancellation Policy
Refunds will be made up until June 21 minus a $50 processing fee. After June 21, refunds will not be available.
