The California Museum extends our deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues
of Miles Treaster, who passed away on Friday, November 9, 2012.

Miles was a member of the Museum's "Ray Eames: A Century of Modern Design" advisory council, as seen above with fellow advisory council member Llisa Demetrios of Eames Office benefit screening of "EAMES: The Architect and the Painter" on March 6, 2012. We had the pleasure of working with him on the upcoming exhibit and were saddened by his passing. His vast knowledge of Sacramento's design history as well as his kind assistance  with the project will be missed.
