Sigmund Penn
has over 50 years of experience in the food Industry. After assisting in growing a Bakery/Deli company to 55 retail outlets, he then became Vice President, Bakery Operations for a midwest supermarket chain with 150 in-store bakeries and a central bakery manufacturing plant. He then took on operations for a national Fish 'N Chip franchise with 300 units. He created and owned 3 different restaurant chains in Houston, Texas as well as a national ice cream franchise, the Marble Slab Creamery (Cold Stone concept). For 10 years, his consulting took him all over the world. Recently, he spent 2 years in Russia with the Peace Corps in the business division. Sigmund has been volunteering with SCORE for more than 5 years.
Tom Penn
has over 25 years on executive level hospitality and restaurant experience. He spent 13 years with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts in locations all over the world helping Hyatt deliver their brand of service excellence. Over the last 12 years, he has led the Ladeki Restaurant group and Sammy's Woodfired Pizza as Vice President and Partner through their incredible run as INC. magazines top 25 small companies to watch and ZAGAT Guides distinguished "Worlds Top Restaurant" classification.
