Mark Thompson
has over 25 years of experience in Consumer Marketing, Brand Management and General Management including over 12 years at Procter & Gamble in Brand Management, Advertising, Sales and as a Group Marketing Manager (Food and Beverage Sector) to the P&G/Wal*Mart Customer Team in Bentonville, AR. In 1994, Mark started a small business with an SBA secured loan and subsequently sold it in 2000 during the popularity of the dot-com era. Mark's industry experience includes consumer product marketing and sales in the food, beverage, fabric care, cosmetics and hardline businesses including general management responsibilities in the sporting goods industry.
Currently a VP of Marketing & Sales for a durable goods manufacturer, Mark oversees the marketing and communication efforts for a group of businesses via both online and offline channels. Also an Adjunct Professor in Media & Communications, Mark currently teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses in Integrated Marketing Methods and Marketing Plan ROI.
Mark has been a member of SCORE San Diego since 2005.
