Tim joined SCORE in 1993 and has been a regular workshop presenter ever since. In 1999, at SCORE's request, Tim developed the Basic QuickBooks Workshop, an interactive seminar designed to familiarize small business owners with the basic features of the program and give them the confidence to install it on their computers and start using it.

In 2007, SCORE asked Tim to manage the Advanced QuickBooks Workshop and redesign it to better address the information needs of small businesses. As part of his presentation, Tim discusses thirty-two topics not covered in the Basic QuickBooks Workshop. These topics are organized into four sections: Advanced Setup, Tips for Easier Bookkeeping, Advanced Tasks, and Advanced Reporting.

Tim has a bachelor's degree in accounting and is co-author of the book, NO PLACE TO RUN, the true story of David Gilbert's struggle to save his family during the Holocaust. David Gilbert was an active member of SCORE from 1983 until 1999. NO PLACE TO RUN was published in 2002 by Vallentine Mitchell of London and can be ordered on-line at Amazon.com.
