If you answered YES, this workshop has been designed especially for you. 

This NEW workshop will provide an overview of the essential topics that need to be addressed when planning and opening a restaurant.  (This workshop  is a supplement to the SCORE Starting Your Own Business workshops.)
Topics covered in the workshop:
  • Why restaurants are a notoriously tough business in which to succeed and the primary reasons many fail and the keys to success that will improve your chances.
  • Recognize your strengths and weaknesses . . . and how to compensate for your weaknesses.
  • Legal entity considerations.
  • Understand your niche and begin to build a plan to determine if it's viable in your chosen market.
  • The value of partnering with a trusted friend or family member.
  • The importance of a business plan.

This workshop will be given by retired local restaurant owners, as well as SCORE volunteers.

Pre-registration is required online, click below to register.  Sorry, no walk-ins.

Workshop Fee:  $25 (includes continental breakfast) payment made through PayPal (PayPal account not required), must have a credit/debit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Discover).
