The Facts
In 2012, the Placer Food Bank:- Served over 750,000 individuals through our network of Hunger-relief and charitiable organizations
- Distributed nearly 5.9 million pounds of food trhough our network of hunger-relief partners
- Had more demand than product to meet it
Help increase hunger awareness and raise funds to meet the growing demand for supplemental and emergency food to feed the hungry in our community by attending a Placer Food Bank Empty Bowls meal.
Empty Bowls will feature hand-crafted ceramic bowls, and a simple pasta meal. Proceeds will be used to obtain and distribute food to the community through Placer Food Bank’s network of charitable agencies and feeding programs.

Tickets
Your Empty Bowls ticket includes your choice of a hand-crafted ceramic bowl created by local artists and friends of Placer Food Bank, and a simple meal of pasta, bread, salad and dessert.
Wine Reception and Supper
In addition to a simple pasta supper, guests will enjoy wine tasting, appetizers and live entertainment.
