A study of the poetic and wisdom books of the Bible, including the Psalter as a poetic version of the Old Testament metanarrative. Students will look at the major themes of the wisdom books and the tensions within them. This 2-day non-credit course is open to all. Dr. Erika Moore uses the Old Testament as her primary text. Students are expected to read through the Biblical text prior to Monday, January 7.
