 Presenter: Nicole Kamm   Nicole Kamm

Nicole Kamm represents business owners in a wide range of employment matters, including counseling clients on claim prevention, supervisor training, implementing policies and practices, and litigation defense.

Representing employers in a variety of industries, Ms. Kamm’s experience includes defending business owners in state and federal court, as well as before administrative agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Deparment of Fair Employment and Housing, and the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement—against the full spectrum of employment-related claims.

She has defended employers in wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wage and hour matters; secured favorable rulings from state and federal agencies and the Labor Commissioner; negotiated and settled demands by former employees for a fraction of the initial claims; and worked with employers to transition workers from independent contractor/consultant status, to full-time employees.

Ms. Kamm is active in the business and legal community, serving as Chair of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association Employment Section. She is also a co-founder of Women To Women, a Los Angeles networking group for up-and-coming female professionals.
