 A Seasonal Preliminary Pageant to the

East Coast USA Maryland Open State Pageant to be held

March 9, 2013 in Towson, Maryland

We are so excited to present to you this regal and glamourous day of pageantry! This pageant will take place at the Holiday Inn Express in Aberdeen, Maryland. It is a preliminary to the East Coast USA Maryland Pageant so this is a great opportunity for new contestants to experience a pageant and win entry fees paid to the state pageant held March 9, 2013 in Towson, Maryland. We will be offering natural style competition only for children 0-13 yrs., teens and adults may wear makeup.

Each contestant participating will be awarded a beautiful rhinestone tiara! We will be awarding gorgeous regal rhinestone crowns, satin embroidered sashes, age appropriate gifts and gift certificates! Every award presented at this event will be at the expectation of royalty!  A fun day for the whole family!

Competition Information

Age Divisions:

Wee Baby Miss: 0-12 months
Baby Miss: 13-23 months
Wee Toddler Miss: 2 yrs.
Toddler Miss: 3 yrs.
Tiny Miss: 4-5 yrs.
Mini Miss: 6-7 yrs.
Little Miss: 8-9 yrs.
Pre-Teen: 10-11 yrs.
Jr. Miss 12-13 yrs.
Young Miss: 14-16 yrs.
Teen Miss: 17-19 yrs.
Miss: 20-28 yrs.
Ms.: 29 yrs. & up

All women may be married or single.

Beauty Competition
The beauty competition will start with a group line up. That is where we bring the whole age group on stage together and they smile for the judges. Then they are all brought off stage and individual competition begins. Contestants will do a simple walk onstage stopping at three X’s marked on the stage. They should stop, turn and smile at each X. The emcee will read information about the contestant as they shine onstage and show their personality to the judges! At this preliminary level we are looking for Sunday best for children 0-13 yrs. a short age appropriate dress that you would wear to church or fancy party. For teens and adults we are looking for prom style dresses either long or short. All children 0-13 yrs. should compete NATURAL. No makeup, fake hair/eyelashes/nails/flippers or spray tans please. Each contestant will be checked before they are allowed onstage by staff. Judging will be based on facial beauty, stage presence and overall appeal.

Optional Photogenic Competition
Strike a pose! Show us your photogenic ability and the most photogenic in each age group will win great prizes! You will hand in your photo at registration. Photo should be an 8-10" or 8-11". One photo is included in the Supreme package. You may hand in additional photos at registration for $10.00 for each additional photo. Your highest score will be used. Photos should be labeled on the back with firs/last name and age group.Judging will based on personality projection, facial beauty, overall appeal, quality and clarity.

(3) High Point Queens
We will award three high point queens in the following breakdowns 0-5 yrs., 6-13 yrs. and 14 yrs. & up! This score is tabulated by your beauty competition score and photogenic competition score. They will win a gorgeous satin embroidered custom sash, giant rhinestone crown, $200 Gift Certificate to the East Coast USA Maryland State Pageant March 9, 2013 and a varitey of great gifts from East Coas USA and our sponsors!

(13) Queen of the Chesapeake Beauty Winners
Our beauty queens will win a large gorgeous rhinestone crown, satin embroidered banner, $100 Gift Certificate to the East Coast USA Maryland State Pageant held March 10 & 11, 2012 and gifts from the East Coast USA Pageant and our sponsors! This title is tabulated by your beauty competition score.
4 Runners Ups will also be recognized in each age division and win a ribbon, gift and a $50.00 Gift Certificate to the East Coast USA Maryland State Pageant held March 9, 2013.

(13) Photogenic Winners
We will award a photogenic winner in each age division! They will win a ribbon and nice gift!

Beauty Side Awards
We will award winners in each age group for the following titles: Prettiest Eyes, Prettiest Smile, Prettiest Hair, Best Dressed and Best Personality. They will win a ribbon and nice gift!

Every Contestant Will Receive a Rhinestone Tiara and a Gift Certificate to the East Coast USA Maryland State Pageant held March 9, 2013 in Maryland. The state pageant is hosted by Mr. Tim Whitmer and we award over $20,000 in cash and prizes!

Additional Information

• Contestants should arrive at the hotel dressed and ready for the competition there will not be a dressing room provided there will only be the hotel restroom available for your use. Staff will be available to help contestants and answer any questions you may have at this event.
• Photogenic Entries should be turned in at registration and be clearly labeled on the back with the contestants first and last name.

TICKETS

Each contestant will receieve one free ticket for a parent/guest with their entry. Additonal tickets may be purchased at the door. Prices are $5 for children up to 12 yrs. and $10 for Adults
