GladdeningLight’s annual weekend symposium will take place January 29 - February 1, 2015 at All Saints Episcopal Church, the Cornell Fine Arts Museum at Rollins College and Casa Feliz in Winter Park, Florida.

Barbara Brown Taylor Barbara Brown Taylor, www.BarbaraBrownTaylor.com, the symposium’s featured speaker, will join painter & sculptor Tobi Kahn, www.TobiKahn.com, and brother musicians from the west coast of Ireland Owen & Moley, www.OwenandMoley.com to explore the cloud of unknowing where deeper interpretations of darkness and luminosity emerge.

  • Thursday, January 29, 2015, 7:00 pm: Benefit dinner at Casa Feliz with Barbara Brown Taylor & Tobi Kahn, performance by Owen and Moley, $175 per person
  • Friday, January 30, 2015, 10:30 am: Private tour of the Tobi Kahn painting & sculpture exhibit on display at the Cornell Fine Arts Museum led by the artist, reserved for weekend symposium registrants
  • Friday, January 30, 2015, 2:00 pm: Lecture by Tobi Kahn followed by a conversation with the artist and Bruce A. Beal Director of the Cornell, Dr. Ena Heller, Bush Auditorium, Rollins College, free and open to the public. Afternoon, Tobi Kahn exhibit on view at the Cornell, free and open to the public
  • Friday, January 30, 2015, 7:00 pm: Opening session, Barbara Brown Taylor lecture with music from Owen & Moley, Thomas Center at All Saints Episcopal Church, 338 E. Lyman Avenue, $25 single admission
  • Saturday, January 31, 2015, 9:30 am: Morning session, Barbara Brown Taylor and Owen & Moley, All Saints Thomas Center, $99 single registration for the day & evening; afternoon free of scheduled activities with optional small group discussion & reflection at 4:00 p.m. in the Mary Martha Room at All Saints
  • Saturday, January 31, 2015, 7:00 pm: An Ecumenical Evening, Havdalah service to mark the end of the Jewish Sabbath followed by Vespers & Evening Prayer with homily from Barbara Brown Taylor to herald the Christian Sabbath, with Owen & Moley, Tobi Kahn, All Saints Thomas Center
  • Sunday, February 1, 2015, 10:15 am: Concluding session, Barbara Brown Taylor talk with Owen & Moley, All Saints Thomas Center, free and open to the public
