"Best Practices of the Best Learning & Development Departments"

Program Description:

A premier Learning & Development department will make a significant impact on the organization it supports by (1) alignment with the business/strategy, (2) offering a variety of learning approaches based upon objectives developed by needs assessment and (3) continuous improvement through feedback and measurement of the impact on the people and organization.

Only a few Learning & Development departments execute all of these activities well. The national ASTD BEST and Training Magazine’s Top 125 awards measure the effectiveness of a Learning & Development department against the above and other criteria. Only those that perform well on all of these activities win their coveted award.
