What is this course about?
This course will be a hands-on experience focused on people in Europe who greatly influenced the discipline of psychology. The best way to understand these famous psychological thinkers and scientists is to consider the systemic context within which their different schools of thought emerged, which helps students to integrate different areas of psychology. This trip will immerse students in the historical context of psychology through a visit to Europe, where psychology formally emerged, thereby enabling students to develop a rich appreciation for the roots of our discipline. Additionally, as part of the core values and strategies of ASU, the importance of the global community and globalized opportunities are key issues. This course and tour will help Participants gain theoretical and practical knowledge about European culture as part of the emphasis on global understanding.
