Generous donations by members of our desert community provide the funds for College of The Desert student scholarships.  As a scholarship recipient, it is important that you thank the scholarship donors and let them know the impact that the scholarship will have on your future academic and career goals. 

During the scholarship writing workshop you will be given the opportunity to learn how to write a great thank you letter.  By the end of the workshop, with the help of writing tutors, you will complete your final thank you letter.  In order to receive your fall scholarship disbursement, you must turn in your approved scholarship thank you letter that was completed at the workshop.   

During the workshop you will:

• Learn why it is important to thank the scholarship donors.
• Learn what to include in your thank you letter.
• Complete a final version of your scholarship thank you letter.
