It’s time to reminisce, give thanks and come together as one big family for a spectacular party celebrating 130 years of Catholic High School education, in Chippewa Falls.

SATURDAY, APRIL 6, 2013

• You and your guest are cordially invited to celebrate Mass at 4:30 p.m., at Notre Dame Church. 
• Following Mass, cross the street to the former McDonell Memorial High School building (now the Heyde Center for the Arts)
• You will be greeted by tuxedo clad doormen and special hosts for the evening, Jim (Class of 1976) & Nancy Bischel, Larry & Kathy (Connell Class of 1973) Dahl, Gerald & Mary (Wermund Class of 1978) and Gordy & Donna (Erickson - Class of 1958) Schafer.

 TAKE A TOUR OF THE FORMER MCDONELL HIGH SCHOOL

• 1ST FLOOR will be transformed in pictures and murals spanning the years - 1882 to 2012. Enjoy butler-served complimentary hors d'oeuvres, wines and beers. Listen to the musical sounds by Jerry Way (a former McDonell teacher/playwright) and his jazz trio. Judy Brist will be performing on her angelic harp. Guided tours of the classrooms with tales of bygone school lore, “lessons learned”, hidden haunts, and other secrets will be provided.

• WCFW RADIO STATION will be on hand broadcasting and interviewing guests with a live remote. 

• The 2ND FLOOR will become available for touring at 6:45 p.m. Follow your escorts,(former “bad boy” hall monitors in letter jackets) to the auditorium. Highlights on the second floor tour include: an elegant 1940’s-style ballroom atmosphere complete with an authentic nightclub floor show filled with magic, music, trivia and fun.

DINNER 

• Dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m. by students of the current McDonell system – future alumni – who are anxious to meet you! They will be joined by waiters you are sure to recognize!

AFTER DINNER

•  Dance the night away to the renowned sounds of the Troppo Band (can you spot the alumni in the band?)
• Immediately following Troppo, there will be an after party across the hall where the rafters will be rocking with our disc jockey spinning tunes and slipping the slack from then to now.
• Enjoy a complimentary late night snack and cup of your favorite “Joe” from the Goldsmith Coffee bar. (The bar will continue to serve your favorite beverages until 1:00 a.m. )

Cost:   $45.00 single; $80 couple

Come dressed in your School Uniform or your Sunday best!
