Montessori Philosophy

Discover the astonishing characteristics and power of the Absorbent Mind of the child under six.  Learn how the Montessori classroom along with the prepared home environment can best support the sensitive periods of development of a child from birth-to-six years.

Prospective parents are strongly encouraged to learn more about Austin Montessori School and the Montessori approach by attending a core series of three prospective parent classes one of which is Montessori Philosophy.  Parent participation in these sessions is a criteria highly valued when children are considered for placement.

Due to the nature of these presentations, we ask that you please make childcare arrangements for all children other than infants in arms.
