Dinner/Meeting Format                                                                        As you may already know, the WCBA board now conducts the monthly association meetings in a new format that encourages membership participation and provides an excellent opportunity for members to mingle with their industry peers. In addition to the official board meeting, the evening offers a sponsored cocktail hour "mixer', a chance to dine at various local restaurants and informative guest speakers who provide current, relevant information on wide ranging industry topics. These Dinner/Meetings generally take place on the second Thursday of the month and follow this itineray:

3 p.m.- WCBA Board of Director's General Monthly Meeting
The monthly general meeting of the WCBA board of directors takes place from  3:00 p.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month at varying local dining establishments. The location of the meeting is published in emails and the monthly newsletter preceding each month's meeting. These meeting are "open" meetings, which means that WCBA members are invited to attend and listen and then provide their input at the end of the meeting. This is your association. Your involvement is valuable!

NOTE: The February meeting will NOT be held on the 2nd Thursday of the month as usual, but instead will take place on February 21st (AFTER the Home Builder's and Remodeler's Expo), in order to provide members the opportunity to bring their Expo feedback to the meeting.

5 p.m. - Networking "Meet-and-Greet" Cocktail Hour                         

 Even if you don't attend the board meeting, please come and join your fellow-association members at 5 p.m. and enjoy compimentary beverages before dinner while you socialize with your industry peers. Sponsored by a different WCBA member business each month, this casual cocktail hour provides a great time for association members to get together and catch up on local industry happenings. February's Dinner/Meeting will take place at Doman's Bar and Grill in Jackson.

6:45 p.m. Featured Guest Speaker                                                Following dinner each month, a different featured guest speaker is invited to deliver a brief talk on relative industry topics.

February's Dinner/Meeting will feature Attorney Everett Wood who will discuss Wisconsin's lien rights laws as they ralate to the construction industry.

Guest Speaker Bio                                                                                                       Everett Wood graduated from UW-Madison's law school and has an office in Hubertus. Mr. Wood's law practice specializes in construction and real estate litigation. At the WCBA dinner meeting in February, Mr. Wood will discuss the numerous details involved with Wisconsin's lien laws as they pertain to the trades.
