ICM is calling upon the interfaith community to join us at ICM Day at the Capitol 2013 "Have a Heart for Children." The interfaith community must make its presence known to our legislators and speak with a clear, unified voice for each and every child.
The 2013 legislative session will address the future of Georgia's children in several pieces of legislation, such as:
-
re-writing our juvenile code;
-
enhancing human trafficking/CSEC laws and services;
-
securing a quality education for every child;
-
increasing the safety of the early care and learning of our youngest children; and
-
helping parents take care of their children and keep their jobs.
Register today and begin the work of ensuring the well-being of Georgia's children in 2013.
The last day to register is February 10, 2013. Parking is very limited around the Capitol area. We strongly recommend that you ride MARTA and/or vanpool or carpool where MARTA is not readily accessible.
