Medical Education Grand Rounds

"Anatomy of Medical Education Scholarship"

Moderated by Donald Moore, PhD

Scholarship in medical education is an important endeavor in medical schools.  Most people who are interested in pursuing medical scholarship projects have multiple responsibilities that can make it difficult to accomplish those projects.  Several school of medicine faculty members have been able to publish and/or present their scholarly work, however, despite a busy schedule and conflicting responsibilities. A panel of these faculty members, moderated by Don Moore, will discuss their strategies for successfully pursuing their scholarly goals.

Panelists include:

  • Amy Fleming, MD, Assistant Professor, Department of Pediatrics
  • Scott Rodgers, MD, Associate Dean for Students
  • Anderson Spickard III, MD, MS, Associate Professor of Medicine and Assistant Professor of Biomedical Informatics
  • Kyla Terhune, MD, Assistant Professor of Surgery and Anesthesiology, Division of General Surgery

A boxed lunch will be provided for those who register by February 1, 2013
