An Absolute IP Fest!

As the Security and IT landscapes collide, it is clear that security professionals will need to gain new skills and expertise to develop their businesses over the coming years.

This was illustrated at the Solent Hotel and Spa Fareham as the exhibitors, delegates, speakers and VIP guests gathered to engage with the latest network based security and safety solution, discuss the issues of migration to IP and pick the brains of those who are actively involved in the technology.

Paul Hennings chair of the event explained, "The range of products on display and the wealth of expertise shares during the seminars indicate that there is a hunger for knowledge, a need to develop partnerships and yet huge opportunities available by embracing the digital and in particular IP age. I would encourage the industry as a whole to give IP a chance, learn more about the benefits, take up the challenge and reap the rewards".

Chaired by Paul Hennings and featured a panel of speakers and exhibitors. This was your opportunity to "ask the experts" about any issue relating to Security Technology, the trends in the Industry, personal hints and tips and to engage with other delegates with the intension of sharing knowledge and experience. Delegates could submit questions in advance during the registration process or simply ask away on the day - this session was recorded for publication.

 

The questions from the floor and members of the panel were many and varied, including topics such as:
