Everyone's a winner at the 2013 Community Business Expo. This casino-themed event takes advantage of an influx of Lake Orion area parents and school staff who are on hand at the high school for Spring parent-teacher conferences. Expected attendance typically tops 1000 for this event that is free to the public.
Join businesses of all varieities as they share information about their services, sell their merchandise, distribute free food samples and introduce unique offerings to consumers that span every demographic.

The LOHS DECA Club Marketing students have created a game that directs Expo attendees to your booth to complete their Scavenger Hunt and get a chance to win door prizes. How can you participate? Donate a door prize ($25 minimum value) and send us your logo in .jpg format by April 1st. We'll add your business to the game board and announce your business name when your door prize is awarded. Please bring door prize with you to the Expo and turn in at check-in.

Take part in the Expo's Taste of Orion and promote your cuisine to hundreds of parents, students, staff and community members. Provide 750 food samples and it will waive the cost of your table (normally $130) at the event. You must be a member of the Orion Area Chamber of Commerce to participate.
Take a shot at earning the title of best pizza in the Orion area! What better way to promote your pizza than to hundreds of Lake Orion high school students, staff and parents. To enter the competition you must be a member of the Orion Area Chamber of Commerce. The fee for a table in the expo is $130 however; if you are participating in the Pizza War your fee will be waived. The winner will be awarded with a trophy naming them the “2013 Pizza War Champion” to display in their business until the 2014 Pizza war. The rules of the Pizza War are as follows: slices served must be no more than 2 inch bites, toppings can only consist of cheese and pepperoni and you must provide 750 samples. Votes will be counted at 7 pm during the Expo and the winner will be announced at 7:30 pm.
Have you ever wanted to be part of a Flash Mob? Here's your opportunity to be part of the latest craze that has swept the nation. Sign your studio dancers up to perform a flash mob at the 2013 Community Business Expo. A great way to advertise your studio in the community and provide your dancers with a fun opportunity to perform. We will also promote your studio as a Flash Mob participant and direct community members who want to participate to your practice times. More great exposure for your business! We have 3 times available for studios to flash mob; 5 pm, 6 pm and 7 pm. Sign up early to secure your spot. There is no cost to the studio to participate, however if you would like a booth at the Expo the normal exhibitor fee of $130 applies. Must be a member of the Orion Area Chamber of Commerce to participate.
