On August 19, 2009 Lisa experienced every mother's worst nightmare; the death of her 19 year old son, Ben, after an intense yearlong battle with Leukemia.  She has made her mess her message, giving purpose to her pain by vulnerably sharing some of the lessons she learned along the way.
